Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs): Even though finishing on the losing side versus the Blues, his teammates let him down. He was up against 18 shots, nine directed at goal, and an xG of over three for the opposition but he kept them in it. He stood firm for his side.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): The talented teen is frightening. Naturally a midfield engine, he slots in intelligently at full-back. His performance in the win over Bournemouth was impressive, marking him as a future star.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A constant menace, he helped secure a further shutout for his club. He remains a nuisance from set-pieces, and his presence was decisive in the win at Burnley. Rival teams are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham): Selected for two reasons: his team's victory and his measured, assured display. Although Newcastle were not at their best, he stood out on the ball and settled the play. Following a few uncertain displays, he seems to have grown under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham): He sparked the team in the win over Wolverhampton. Outstanding in attack and reliable throughout the term, he's added goals to his game. Fantastic to see him healthy and performing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea): The sole engine everyone agrees on. Absolutely pivotal for his club, he stood as the top tackler. Like the Duracell Bunny, he pushes the team ahead. Arguably the best holding midfielder in world football.

Declan Rice (the Gunners): Another pivotal display versus Burnley. A dominant force, he netted and shines from set-pieces. As they face weaker opponents, he recovers energy and executes forward surges. Crucial to see him let loose.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He pushed forward, scoring versus a poor Aston Villa team. His ability to dictate play on and off the ball, plus his vision and challenges, made him key to the win.

Forwards

Diego Gomez (Brighton): He netted two goals versus United, and his style was graceful gliding past defenders. Moving with pace and power, he edged out fellow attacker Danny Welbeck on the day.

Erling Haaland (City): What else can be said about this phenomenon? Each occasion he broke through, you expected a score. He never looked like missing. The ruler has returned. Despite summer talk about alternate forwards, Haaland reigns supreme. He might break scoring records this year.

Rayan Cherki (Manchester City): Playing as a right winger is his ideal role. Remarkably ambidextrous, uncommon like Santi Cazorla. He can take set-pieces equally well. A gifted footballer, he appears fit post-recovery. His connection with Haaland is clearly a key reason for his acquisition.

Gaffer

Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham): Haven't seen it, just watch the way he celebrated their third versus Newcastle. It demonstrates how much it matters for him and the squad. He knows West Ham face challenges, but they must persevere and secure results.
